Ray Goodman is a passionate singer and songwriter with unique takes on classic R&B and Soul favorites. Born in New York, raised in Ohio on 70’s Classic Rock 80’s Pop and 90's Neo Soul.
Ray’s love of music began at 11, singing along to radio hits such as "Just the Two of Us" and "Sara Smile". After moving to the SF Bay Area, he sang tenor for 20-years with Conspiracy of Beards, a 30-men choir performing new arrangements of Leonard Cohen songs. He's performed across the Bay Area, in New York, Berlin, Amsterdam and Prague.
Ray Goodman & The Soulmates bring a sophisticated vibe to any event, infusing classic hits with fresh, modern arrangements that elevate the mood and engages guests. Ray also draws from his deep knowledge of dance, both as a Cuban salsa enthusiast and passionate swing dancer, ensuring that the rhythm and groove of every performance are always on point.
