Cobblestones

Cobblestones is a klezmer and world music group that formed in 2018. Originally a duo featuring Dave Rosenfeld on guitar and Surya Prakasha on harmonium, the group explores klezmer classics, Celtic melodies and modal music in new and improvisational ways, with lively upbeat pieces and slower soulful songs. More recently as a trio, the Cobblestones includes percussion in this mix, adding dance like rhythms and solos.

Surya Prakasha has been a musician and music teacher for 25 years. He studied at the Oberlin Conservatory and is originally from San Francisco. He teaches piano, drums and singing out of his studio and also leads music regularly at Kol Shofar synagogue in Tiburon.

Dave Rosenfeld is a stringed instrument player who emphasizes creativity and playfulness in his playing. While studying for his MA is Music Composition at Mills College, he enhanced his understanding of traditional folk music, as well as the avant-garde. Dave has been performing and teaching in the SF Bay Area for over 20 years.

Sailing goat is the newest addition to a farm to table restaurant experience in a fabulous outdoor setting! A bayside escape to nourish the body and feed the soul offering coastal cuisine with seasonal plates, local beer and wine to the sounds of live music!!!
