About the event
Foleada is a group of seasoned musicians based out of Seattle that play Forró. Featuring charismatic Brazilian vocalist/percussionist Adriana Giordano, the music is led by accordionists Jamie Maschler and Gabe Hall-Rodrigues, Michael Catts on bass and percussionist Sam Esecson. Foleada delivers music witha rich range of forró rhythms and tempos, from fast and feisty to slow and bluesy. They love bringing the vital energy of forró to new audiences and getting everyone out on the dance floor!
